This hidden winch mount is nothing but prefect from the welds to the easy installation it's just plain awesomeness. If your questioning buying it just do it you won't regret it. The customer service is by far hands down the best and Bash is a straight up dude. It may take a month or 2 to get it but it's worth every minute of the wait. Besides if your poor like me it gives you time to get everything ready for when it comes in. I'm going to be buying more stuff for my wj from bash and he gots a lifetime customer now.

By far, one of the most empowering modifications I've done to my WJ.
The ability to mount a 10 - 12k winch while retaining the light and tasteful stock bumper is a game-changer.
Gives me added comfort knowing I have a good recovery option or means of assisting myself over/through an obstacle.

Installation was tricker then anticipated, but that's because I was being picky and trying to not hack up my grill/bumper in the process. Still messed up a bit, but it's all good. Just plan appropriately. Bumper itself is an easy install, but it takes time to figure out how to fit the winch and solenoid box, as well as trim the stock bumper cover.
Well worth the effort in the long run. I get compliments all the time and people were always asking me where I got my bumper!

Awesome build quality and fitment as expected! Well worth the wait.
It is challenging to trim the bumper perfectly and fit the winch without hacking up the grill, so plan on extra time for the install. Mine took 3x as long as expected, but that was mainly trying to figure out how to ideally install the winch, not the mount itself.
Overall, totally worth it! Its a huge peace of mind having a winch, and this is the best way to do it without adding on the weight and cost of a full-streel bumper.

Once again Bash and the HK team killed it with another awesome product. This thing is built incredibly well. I have the glissade sliders on my jeep as well. If you are on the edge about buying one...... JUST DO IT!!!!! Its worth every penny. Last trip I went on I had to pull a sizeable tree off the trail. This thing didn't even blink. ZERO bending, creaking, or movement. To be honest I'm pretty sure I could lift the jeep by it and it would be fine. Thanks again for another great product and keep up the good work.

I wanted to share my thoughts on working with you in the selection and instructions on your hidden winch mount.
You have another very satisfied customer who will continue to add additional products you offer to my WJ. The mount upon inspection shows a great deal of design and execution in its production, perfect welds, high material I’m sure will last longer than my Jeep.
The installation process was straight forward with the only challenge was cutting the facia as the recovery tabs made it a very slow process to get the correct fit. All in all I am very pleased and just waiting now on the grommet material to give a finished and clean look to the cut edges.
You can see I cut the facia not the grill for the free spool arm and that worked very well for me. I’ve the Smittybuilt 10000# with the wireless remote option. It fit well with the solenoid mounted against the frame to the left of the winch. I moved the remote plug and wireless on off switch to the facia.
Thanks again and I’m working on a better way to get other items you offer down here. If any of you clients have any questions on how I did mine please share my contact info.

I worked with Bash to come up with a design. And with a couple text messages and pix sent. TaDa… The Rhino Hook was born. With all the designing and fabrication. I got my bumper within three weeks. Bash was amazing to work with and a big help understanding what I wanted. As for the bumper/ hidden winch mount. It’s no where near as heavy as I was thinking. But man is it beefy. There is no doubt that this thing won’t come apart. The welds look amazing. Thank you to everyone who had a hand in making this happen. And thank you Bash!!! Great fit.....fairly easy install...now you need to design some end pieces that bolt to subframe to protect corner of WJ but still remain under bumper cover

The second you take it out of the box you will realize it’s a work of art. I was on the fence because the thought of taking the front off of a truck seems like a huge deal but the directions were spot on and it fit perfectly. It’s a huge improvement to the front end of my Grand Cherokee.

The HK hidden winch mount is fantastic. The installation went really well and it’s as solid as can be. Fortunately I’ve only used it for pulling bushes this far, but I’m totally prepared and expect it to meet any demand I throw at it when the time comes.

Looked at other options, but the HK Hidden winch mount looked to be the highest quality and didn't compromise approach angle. Picked it up in person since I'm local and the guys were helpful and friendly. Installing the mount took some time (I'm picky), but was not difficult at all. Plus, the unit was MASSIVE compared to the stock sheet metal! All the parts needed to finish the job were included and fit correctly without modification. I placed a 12k winch in the mount and it fit perfectly. Now need an excuse to try it out.

Worth the wait!!!
The craftsmanship and quality of the mount is fantastic. Very little modification was needed for a positive fit. Future buyers need to be aware of the plastic work needed for the Limited bumper. Patience and very small cuts will get the results the buyer is wanting. A month after install, a group of friends went into the Ozark National Forest during an awesome snow storm for a week of camping and wheeling. I was on the winch line many times. I kept checking the mounting system and was pleased to see nothing was moving.
I installed a Badlands Apex 12K into the mount. I will be modifying the winch free spool lever to accept a 3/8 drive to access through the grill. I did not want to cut a 6 inch hole in the plastic for that, nor did I want to drill a large hole into the mount.
I feel I will be ordering the Gate Keeper to add to this mount.

Coated this with Raptor liner and damn this thing is awesome! Bolts up with no issues…unless you’re a little weakling, you may need help getting it up there, it’s pretty hefty. That being said, looks like it’ll really take a beating and keep begging for more. Can’t wait for my other orders to arrive, thanks Bash and team!

Bash, I was hesitant to take the sawzall to the front of a perfectly good Jeep, but after a few measurements and a little patience, it went together like a glove. The hardest part was notching the plastic bumper cover. Thanks for offering a great and thought out solution to the WJ owners that want a recovery solution that looks like it could have came from the factory.

Glad i made this purchase, fits and installs perfect, only problem i had was with my badland clutch handel but solved it with a great solution by drilling a hole in the handle attached a steel cable lanyard pull and attached end to bumper on a clevis pin, works great. Will be adding the radiator support next.

The welding and materials on this Hidden Winch Mount are second to none! Very strong and I have no doubts that it will handle anything I throw at it.
However, I removed a star because one of the D-Ring Mounts is welded on crooked and the replacement hood supports are about 1/2" too long. I had to modify my hood latch to keep the hood lined up and closing properly. These two things will not affect the strength or function of the mount however!

Bash was able to make me a custom order one. Where he left the front off the winch box so I could build my own bumper to the winch box. This winch box is stout and has a great mounting system mounts all the way back to the front skid plate bolt hole. Thank you so much Bash for your help and for the product. Great product. Fit just find with trying to trim as little as possible to fit the stock bumper and still making look like its not even there. The only problem I had with it is that the hood support bars were a little long and push the hood up a little bit.

To be honest. Installing this was super easy.. .
to start bought an EAG back Bumper (bolt on) and that thing was a pain In the ass. Took me 5 hours to BOLT IT ON..
Got around to installing this hidden winch plate and it took 2 and half hours from cutting to bolting and adding a few extra welds/paint. Im beyond happy with my winch plate. It looks great. Instructions were fucking titts easy and smooth sailing. Id recomend this hidden plate along with all his USA MADE PRODUCTS

Was a long ordeal to get the winch mount. But Very happy I stayed with it.
The fit was perfect. And if you know anything about this sort of part a perfect fit is hard.

One thought on the instructions.... Use a long saws all metal blade and do the frame cut
in one shot. Very easy install. As we bought a house after the install I've not mounted a winch yet........
But Rock rails are next.

This mount is amazing! Customer service is top notch as well. Bash is always a text away. Before placing my order, I reached out to him to discuss my winch's fitment, and he said warned me about how stupid big my winch is (buy once, cry once type of deal) and told me what I need to do to make it fit. He was on the money with his precautions obviously. I decided to go a different route with my bumper and grill trim to make it all fit, but it does.
The quality of work is phenomenal. The mount is pure BEEF and I couldn't be happier with it. Now I just have to go get stuck to put it use.
Bash is doing a great job of filling the void in the aftermarket for us often forgotten about WJ owners.
