Overall great experience! Bash was awesome to talk to and answered all of my questions. I opted for the premium bumper because I wanted the shackle mounts. I love the look of the final product and am thrilled to have a winch on the vehicle. This was a great option for the "sleeper offroader" look I'm going with at the moment for my rig.
Craftsmanship:
The craftsmanship is excellent. Welds looked really good, and the metal was cleaned up really well.
Fitment and Install:
The fitment was great and made the install really easy.
The installation instructions on the website, with the hole measurements were spot on. The only thing that was missing from the instructions were the measurements for the shackle mounts, but that was nothing a tape measure couldn't fix. I couldn't find any torque specs so I torqued all bolts to 90 ft/lb
Winch Location:
I really liked the fact that there were two options for the winch positioning: A) closer to the fairlead and B) a little further back. I mounted mine further back so that the winch control box would clear the bumper. The winch and control box (pictured) fit perfectly without any issues of rubbing or interferring with existing lines and wires.
Front End Droop and Ground Clearance:
On a stock suspension, my front end only drooped 1/4" with the bumper and an Amazon 9K lb winch. Droop level will vary based on the weight of the winch, age and type of the suspension, but in any case, it's a very minimal effect on the vehicle ground clearance. Since the winch sits inside the front bumper, you are not losing any additional approach angle other than the 1/4" droop already mentioned.
Installed Look:
I love the way the final product came out. It looks makes the winch look like it was made to be there and gives me so much more peace of mind on the trails. Also gives more opportunities to help others who may be stranded.
Final Thoughts:
If you're looking for a hidden winch bumper: this is the one for you! I absolutely have no regrets about buying this winch or reservations about it's strength and durability.

Awesome build and quality! Packaging was secure and arrived raw as expected, got it powered coated locally Ironman green to match lift kit. Holes lined up perfectly for my 2005 GX. Mounting directions were good but estimates and knowing the side anchor bolt pattern, given in the directions , was great as I had to use a tap to clean out the threads of course. Very happy and recommend to all!

Excellent winch mount. It appears sturdy and the welds are good quality. it mounted pretty easily (a little bit of boring with a tungsten carbide tool was needed, but it was minor), and it looks great. There are also no holes on the winch mount to faster the bumper/OEM plastic under-guard, but you can just ziptie the two together. My Zeak 13000 winch and 3/4 shackles fit without issue. Making the cuts to fit the mount through the bumper can be tricky, but if you take your time it is not that hard. I also cut a hole into the bumper (behind the license plate) so that I can access the winch without having to take off the bumper. I got completely stuck in mud on a trail soon after I installed it, and I was able to winch out without any significant issues (I was stuck pretty good and the winch pulled much of the GX's weight). The mount appears to have held up well and no issues have been observed so far. The sales team was also great, they accommodated my travel needs and shipped sooner upon request. Overall a great hidden winch mount, buy it!

I love this winch mount!
It was well packed when delivered. The fit and finish and welds look very good.
Install was simple, i rushed through it as i was leaving for the UP the next day, so my bumper cuts could have been cleaner.
I like the tie in points to the frame. Almost the competitors only mount to the frame horn, the HK connects to the horns and frame.
I’ve used the my winch dozens of times with no issues, including off angle pulls.
The shackle tabs are super overbuilt. I’ve use them several times with a kinetic rope for recoveries.
Overall this is a great product at a great price.
