This Heavy-Duty Swing-out Tire Carrier mounts to your frame hidden behind the bumper fascia. Drilling 3" holes on bumper fascia near taillights is required along with relocating of license plate and back-up camera. Sorry, we can't have the best of both worlds. This tire carrier is supported by both driver side and passenger side frame in the closed position for a solid mount. No rattling! Shown in photo is our driver side swing out so the carrier may have additional use when open, such as, fold down table or kitchen area etc. The height of the tire is adjustable so you can mount it as high as we have or lower it.
- Kit includes one side Frame Mounted and Supporting Bracket, other side Frame Mounted Carrier Locking and Weight Support Bracket, Spindle Bearings sleeve, Lugs Nuts, Full Length Swing Out Arm
- Tire mounts off center allowing rear window visibility towards the side plus room to mount accessories such as rotopax, jerry cans, high lift jacks, propane tanks etc etc etc let your imagination run wild.
- 100% Bolt on application with simple installation, can be done by anyone, at home with basics home tools
- Requires drilling two 1/2" holes through the rear frame. All the other mounting/bolting points utilize factory mounting areas
